Groom & groomsmen team cut

Not an online booking. The shop is held for your group — one location, one block of the morning, every man in a chair — and you all walk out together.

Othman's holds one of its four shops for a wedding party — the whole group cut in one block, across parallel chairs, in Kitchener, Waterloo or Guelph. The groom's full package is $110 at Waterloo and $120 elsewhere; groomsmen from $35. Arranged directly with the shop, not through online booking. Minimum four people.

Why this one is not a booking button

Everything else on this site books in about a minute through our online system. This does not, and that is deliberate.

One person, one chair

Online booking takes a single name into a single chair. It cannot hold six chairs at once, on one morning, under one booking.

The shop gets arranged around you

Barbers are rostered to your party, the order of services is planned backwards from when you need to leave, and the room is set for a group rather than a queue.

So a person answers

You tell us the date and the headcount, and a human comes back within one business day with the barbers, the schedule and the exact total.

What each man costs

Ranges across the four shops. The low end is Waterloo, the high end is Lancaster, Guelph or Westheights — you only ever pay one shop's prices, because the whole group is cut in one place.

Per personRangeWhat it covers
Hair only$35–$40 Haircut $35, zero fade $38, skin fade $40 — the same at all four shops
Hair & beard$53–$62 Haircut with a beard trim, or with a hot towel shave. Waterloo sells it as one service at $53; Guelph $58; Lancaster and Westheights book the two separately
The groom$110–$120 Full package — haircut, hot towel shave, black mask, threading and facial, 90 minutes

Anything extra, per person

Add-onRangeTime
Hair wash$105 min
Line-up$12–$1410–15 min
Black mask$15–$2015 min
Threading or waxing$2010–15 min
Beard trim on its own$25–$2720 min
Hot towel shave on its own$28–$3030 min
Page boy or child's cut$30–$3320–30 min
Facial package$4030 min

So a party of six — the groom on the full package and five men on hair and beard — lands between $375 and $430 depending which shop you pick and what each man has done. Before HST and before anything you choose to tip. Your shop confirms the exact total before any deposit.

Pick your shop

The whole group is cut at one shop, so one of these price lists applies to your booking — not an average of them. The four menus genuinely differ. Minimum party is 4 people including the groom.

Or take the whole shop

Your party has the shop, or a full section of it, to yourselves for about two and a half hours before the ceremony. Everyone gets their service, the groom gets the full package, there is coffee, and the schedule has photograph time built into it. Priced by quote — tell us your party size and date.

How it works

  1. Send the form. Date, shop, party size. Two minutes.
  2. We reply within one business day. The shop confirms the date works, names your barbers and gives you the exact total.
  3. A deposit locks it. A deposit locks the date in; the shop arranges it with you on that reply. It is not taken through this form.
  4. Wedding morning. Arrive at your start time. The last chair finishes 60 to 90 minutes before you need to leave for photographs.

Getting the timing right

Three things worth knowing before you pick a date.

Book 3–4 weeks out

Saturdays between May and October fill first. Weekday and off-season dates often clear with a week's notice.

45 minutes a head

But the party runs across parallel chairs, so six people is about an hour and a half, not four and a half.

Trial cut, 7–10 days before

Same barber as the wedding day, so the morning cut is a repeat rather than an experiment.

Enquire about a wedding party

Tell us the date, the shop, how many of you and what you want done. A person replies within one business day with your barbers, the schedule and the exact total. Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed booking.

Wedding party questions

How much is a groomsmen package in Kitchener-Waterloo?

It depends which shop, because the menus differ. A groomsman's haircut is $35 at all four. A haircut with a hot towel shave is $58 at Waterloo and $62 at Lancaster, Guelph and Westheights. Waterloo and Guelph also sell a haircut-and-beard-trim as one service, $53 and $58. The groom's full package is $110 at Waterloo and $120 at the other three. Your shop confirms the exact total before any deposit.

How many groomsmen can you handle?

Four people including the groom is the minimum for a party booking. Lancaster and Waterloo take the largest groups, up to about ten; Guelph and Westheights up to about eight. Bigger than that is still possible — say so on the form and the shop will tell you honestly whether the date works.

How far ahead should we book?

Three to four weeks for a Saturday between May and October, which is when the chairs go first. Weekday and off-season dates often clear with a week's notice. If your date is inside a week, call the shop rather than using the form.

Is the booking confirmed when I send the form?

No. The form is a request, not a booking. The shop replies within one business day to confirm the date, name your barbers and give you the exact total. Nothing is held until that reply.

Can the groom do a trial cut first?

Yes, and it is the single best thing you can do. Book it seven to ten days before the wedding with the same barber who will cut you on the day, so the wedding-morning cut is a repeat rather than an experiment.

Which shops offer it?

All four — Lancaster and Westheights in Kitchener, Albert Street in Waterloo, and Macdonell Street in Guelph. The menus and group sizes differ slightly by shop; the tables above show each one.

How long will the whole party take?

Allow about 45 minutes per person, but the party runs across parallel chairs, so six people is roughly an hour and a half rather than four and a half. The shop will build the schedule so the last chair finishes 60 to 90 minutes before you need to leave for photographs.
