See shop pageOthman's has cut hair in Kitchener since the Lancaster shop opened, and the Westheights shop followed for the west end of the city. Between them they cover most of Kitchener inside a ten-minute drive — Lancaster for downtown, Bridgeport and the expressway side, Westheights for Forest Heights, Highland West and the Driftwood Plaza end.
Both shops do the same work: skin and taper fades, scissor cuts, beard shaping with a straight razor and a hot towel finish. Every haircut opens with a consultation, because a fade that suits your hair growth is not the same fade as the one in the photograph. Both run discounted rates for children and for seniors 65 and over, and Westheights has free plaza parking at the door, unmetered.
If you are deciding between the two, pick the one you can get to. The barbers move between shops and the standard does not change.
Lancaster St W and Westheights Dr. The same menu and the same barbers at both, with prices that vary only slightly between them.
Westheights has free unmetered plaza parking at the door. Lancaster St W is closed to through traffic until December 2026 — Rear entrance via Bond St — rear of 321 Lancaster St W, mid-block between Elizabeth St & Union St.
Monday to Friday 10 – 7:30, Saturday 10 – 6, Sunday 11 – 5.
Walk-ins whenever a chair is free. Booking online takes under a minute and lets you pick your barber by name.
Real cuts from Lancaster and Westheights, shot in the shops.

Kids from one month to thirteen years, and seniors 65+, at a discounted rate at both Kitchener shops. First haircuts are done gently, with a barber used to nervous first-timers. Walk in when a chair is free, or book online and pick your barber by name.
A discounted children's rate, every day. Westheights is the shop set up for first haircuts. For safety, children's cuts do not include straight-razor work.
Seniors 65+ are at a discounted rate. Unhurried, no appointment gymnastics — walk in or book, either is fine.
Tell us when you book and we will pair your child with a barber who is used to nervous first-timers, and take as long as it takes.
The whole wedding party cut at either Kitchener shop, in parallel chairs, one block of time. The groom's Full Package — haircut, hot towel shave, black mask, threading and facial — from $110. Groomsmen: haircut and beard trim from $53, or haircut and hot towel shave from $58. Groups of 4 to 10+.
Two more shops within twenty minutes, both with student pricing.

See shop pageYes, at both Kitchener shops. Walk in whenever a chair is free and you will be seen. Evenings and Saturdays are the busiest, so if you are coming then, booking online is the safer call — it takes under a minute and lets you pick your barber.
A haircut at either Kitchener shop is $35 and takes about 30 minutes, consultation included. A zero fade is $38, a skin fade is $40, and a haircut with a beard trim is $53. Children and seniors 65+ are discounted. Prices vary a little between shops, so these are the standard rates — the full list is on our services and prices page.
Whichever is closer. Lancaster, at 321 Lancaster St W, suits downtown Kitchener, Bridgeport and anyone coming off the expressway. Westheights, at 450 Westheights Dr in Driftwood Plaza, suits Forest Heights, Highland West and the west end. Both shops cut from the same menu.
Both, at both shops, every day. A skin fade goes bare at the neckline and blends up; a taper fade starts higher with softer contrast and holds its shape longer. If you are not sure which you want, our barbers will tell you which suits your hair growth — or read the style guide before you come in.
Yes, at both shops, from one month old to thirteen years, at a discounted rate. Westheights in particular is set up for it and is used to first haircuts. For safety, children's cuts do not include straight razor work.
Westheights is in Driftwood Plaza with free unmetered parking right outside the door. Lancaster normally has an on-site lot, but Lancaster St W is closed to through traffic until December 2026, so for now plan to park nearby and walk in: Rear entrance via Bond St — rear of 321 Lancaster St W, mid-block between Elizabeth St & Union St.
Monday to Friday both shops close at 7:30 PM, Saturday at 6 PM and Sunday at 5 PM. Both open at 10 AM Monday to Saturday, and 11 AM on Sundays. If you need later than that, our Waterloo shop runs to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
